GUILD RETREATS

Hey FVKG and Tigard members! It’s Spring Retreat Time!

Looking for an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and spend leisurely, creative time with likeminded makers? Join us for knitting, crocheting, spinning or whatever your creative hands desire! The retreat provides space for simple relaxation, learning new skills or sharpening existing ones, getting help with knitting projects, traveling to Local Yarn Shops, taking nature walks on the 26 acres of beautiful grounds of the retreat house, enjoying someone else's delicious cooking, participating in a weekend-long Yarn Swap or in the Saturday evening Fashion Show (spectators welcome!).

Special News!
Katie Burk, SGO for Twice Sheared Sheep, ever-contagious harbinger of knitting joy, social media influencer to over 145K of us fiber-loving humans, and possessor of the magical ability to bring people together, will be taking a break from her wildly wooly event travel schedule for us! Katie will be zooming in to our retreat from Chicago on Saturday Morning, May 2, to teach us “4 Hacks to Save Your Knitting (or crocheting) Life.”

We are also working on another special class (that will make 2!) so stay tuned for details!!! This retreat is only open to FVKG and Tigard Knitting Guild Members! Be one!
